The NE Eagle Scout Scholarship was established through the generosity of the late Walter Scott, Jr., an Eagle Scout who became a tremendous businessman, leader, and philanthropist.

Scholarship Funds for Post-secondary Nebraska Institutions

The NE Eagle Scout Scholarship provides Eagle Scouts from Nebraska and from Harrison, Mills or Pottawattamie counties in Iowa scholarship funds to attend a post-secondary institution in the state of Nebraska. Students attending a two-year institution in Nebraska are eligible for up to $6,000 ($3,000 annually) and students attending a four-year institution in Nebraska are eligible for up to $12,000 ($3,000 annually).
